Mosaic's Response to COVID-19

Over the course of the past week, we've gotten many questions from our community about how we're handling the COVID-19 epidemic. So this morning, Mosaic co-founders Matt and Sam sent this note out to our customers to answer some of those questions. In short: the health and safety of our customers is, and will always be, our first priority.


To the Mosaic family,

In recent days, we've gotten many questions about how we're handling the COVID-19 epidemic. Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our customers, our employees, and our community, and we're sending along this note to let you know how we're doing our part.

First: we have always taken — and will always take — kitchen safely incredibly seriously. That means maintaining strict sanitation procedures, including regular and thorough hand-washing and kitchen cleaning; ensuring that all chefs cook in full protective gear; and requiring that any employees who show signs of illness stay home.

Second, we're gearing up for increased demand. We've noticed many customers stocking up as they get ready to spend more time at home. We're cooking in larger batches to accommodate, and doing everything we can to ensure that there are no disruptions to your regular service.

Finally, we're making ourselves available to answer any questions from our community. If you have any Mosaic-related thoughts, concerns, or issues, please reply to this note and we'll be sure to take care of you.

In the meantime, we encourage you to check out the CDC's information on Coronavirus to learn more about how to stay safe during these uncertain times.
